Construction of a window for scanning very deteriorated materials that need a minimally invasive digitization process. The design for a 35mm window has been made (adaptable to other formats and sizes). Without hooks or drag elements that could damage the film.

The scanner design has several parts, some of them are already existing elements that have been modified for this new purpose and others have been designed specifically for the project.
