Research and experimentation group on risography.
Risography is a printing system that sits between screen printing and photocopying, printing in layers at high speed. A risograph is a printing system, a hybrid between silkscreen and photocopying, that performs layered printing at high speed. It was created to print documents in bulk, that is, quickly and cheaply. The product was a commercial flop, only arousing interest among artists and designers for its finishes, colors and imperfections.
Our group’s goal is to explore the possibilities of the device, to experiment, to learn and to have fun.
We meet every second Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Self-publishing corner of Medialab Tabakalera.
